Adult Language School, TEFL International Sydney and Z-Gen English
School, hereby known as 'the company'
The company collects information via website forms, through phone calls
and during face to face meetings. Information is also collected via
purchases through our online store, signing up through our enewsletter
and through end of course surveys. This information is usually stored
in our main gmail accounts for easy retrieval via keyword searches.
Example.
John needs to contact his student as the student has not turned up at
the scheduled time and meeting point. He does not have her number. He
can log in via his mobile into the company's enquiries account, which
utilises Gmail, and retrieve the mobile number that was emailed and be
able to call his student to find out where she is.
We usually only need to access personal information
relevant to current or previous students or trainees. A simple email or
call that does not result in a use of our services also does not
usually result in that information being stored. Registration for a
course or a more complicated enquiry that does not result in a use of
our services may result in information being stored for a short time
while we do our best to help.
As a confirmed customer we will do our best to make you
aware of anything relevant to your progress in learning English which
may mean informing you of any courses we may have that are relevant to
your English level as well as inviting you to various free and fee
functions that we may organise during the time you are studying with
us. By becoming a customer of our services you give us permission to
contact you with relevant offers.
Example. We occasionally
have an anniversary celebration or a Christmas party. We would email
everyone who has had a private lesson with us in the past three years
inviting them to our free party.
The company will not disclose your personal information to
any *unrelated* third party. Any disclosure of your information to a
third party would be necessary to provide the particular service that
you require to help you improve your English. Many services of the
company are outsourced so third parties are involved in ninety percent
of our service delivery to you. We guarantee that any third party we
utilise to help you learn your English would only need relevant
information to supply you with the service you require.
Examples.
- All our teachers are 'third parties' as
they work as sole traders with their own ABNs. They can also assist
with additional services that may be outside the company's purview.
-Paypal
is a third party so when you pay for your course via Paypal, Paypal
takes your details to assist in delivering that service.
- TEFL International Sydney is an agent for TEFL International.
As a result, any application or filled web form, or registration, which
results in a confirmation of acceptance into a course, will be
automatically forwarded to head office where it will be stored in a
retrieval system and may be accessed by our head office at a later
date. This transfer of information is necessary so that a certificate
can be issued.
